Hi, I’m Alisa. Welcome to my website!

I’m an oil painter from the Pacific Northwest. An entirely sporadic artist earlier in life, mostly watercolors and acrylics, I started painting in oils in October 2020 (Halloween, actually!) and soon found myself pursuing art with dedication and focus. I began selling my work in late 2021, and participated heavily in art shows and plein air competitions in 2022. While my primary focus has always been landscapes, I occasionally paint figures and other scenes from photographs.

In all of my paintings, I seek to capture a feeling—a glimpse into the moment, into the human experience. This philosophy drives me—it spurs me on into deeper and deeper spirals of paint. It’s these moments of awe, these cherished memories that draw me to my easel again and again. I hope my work transports you too, into other nows, into other versions of ourselves.
